Unfinished and still wet when this photo was taken, an underpainting really, but lately this is how I like to start.<br />Oil on Canvas Board, 10x16"<br />This Spring I will be teaching Portrait Painting in Oils, Intermediate Figure Drawing and Intro to Oil Painting at Gage Academy of Art, Seattle WA <a href="http://www.gageacademy.org/">www.gageacademy.org</a><br />We'll be working large scale in figure drawing and doing some pretty extended poses in the painting course.
